What is here

NHS Manchester Talking Therapies offers help with low mood and anxiety. The Big Life Group runs the service. You can refer yourself online or by phone.

The service accepts people aged 18 or over whose GP surgery is in Manchester. Your GP can also refer you.

Manchester Mind runs groups where people talk about their mental health and learn from each other. These groups are for adults aged 18 or over who live within Manchester City Council boundaries.

What it costs

NHS Manchester Talking Therapies is free. Manchester Mind peer groups are also free for eligible residents.

Manchester Mind charges for its separate counselling service. Each private therapist sets a fee. Ask about prices and any lower rates before you book.
