What is here
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde directs you to your GP for local mental health support. Your GP can help you find the right service.
Primary care mental health teams offer help for common problems such as anxiety and depression. Some teams accept self-referrals. Check the route for your local team before applying.
SAMH Time for You is available to Glasgow residents aged 16 or over. It offers phone or video support for mild to moderate difficulties. You can refer yourself online.
If you already receive psychological therapy, SAMH asks you to finish that support before applying.
What it costs
Time for You is free and offers up to eight sessions. Its appointments take place during weekday working hours.
Private therapists set their own fees. Ask about session prices and cancellation charges before booking.

An online session is a video or phone call at a time you choose. You do not need to travel, and you can change practitioner if the fit is wrong.
