What is here
The local NHS team helps adults with low mood or anxiety. It covers Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan for people aged 18 or over. Ask your GP about a referral.
Cardiff Mind offers counselling in person, online or by phone. Most of its services are for adults.
SilverCloud offers online self-help across Wales for people aged 16 or over. It supports mild to moderate anxiety, depression or stress. You can sign up yourself.
What it costs
SilverCloud is free. Cardiff Mind offers a free first meeting to discuss your needs. Its counselling has a fee.
Its low-cost service uses students who train as counsellors, with support from trained staff. A trained counsellor first checks whether this support suits your needs. Ask Cardiff Mind about the current fee and waiting list.
