Birmingham Healthy Minds offers NHS help for low mood and anxiety. You can refer yourself if you are aged 16 or over and have a Birmingham GP.
Birmingham Mind wellbeing hubs offer peer support, courses and activities in Birmingham and Solihull. Adults over 18 can apply.
The hubs support people with long-term or severe mental health needs. They also help people who receive care from a mental health team.
You need to fill in a form first. Check the website to see if the hubs can help you.
What it costs
Birmingham Healthy Minds is free. The wellbeing hubs also provide free support for adults who meet their access rules.
Each private therapist sets a fee. Ask what each session costs and whether a lower fee is available.
How ViaCara helps in Birmingham
An online session is a video or phone call at a time you choose. You do not need to travel, and you can change practitioner if the fit is wrong.
