We introduce clients to independent professionals. A client talks to us first, then chooses who to contact from a short list.
A letter from Kyle
Hey, Kyle here. I started ViaCara, and I built it for people like my partner.
She's an independent therapist. Her diary stayed full while others around her waited for clients. The difference was her profile: she wrote about her clients, not about herself.
That told me good practitioners are being asked to be marketers. You should be free to listen, not to sell.
I'd felt the client side of it too. I sifted through profile after profile for a therapist who went beyond basic CBT. In the end I built a small tool to read the profiles for me and pick out the signals.
That tool was the first, rough version of ViaCara.
So ViaCara does the listening first. A client talks to us before they ever see your profile.
I'm an engineer, not a therapist, and I've built software since 1999. The work with your clients stays yours.
Got a question about joining? Email me at hello@viacara.com. I read every message and I answer them myself.

How you pay
Your first two introductions are free. After that, each introduction costs one credit, and we spend it only when a client books with you. Looking and declining are free.
Pay as you go, or take a monthly plan that lowers the price of each introduction. No one can pay for a higher place. The practitioner terms set out every price.
Your practice stays yours
We never take payment for your sessions or sit in your contract with a client. A client books the first session from times you offer. After that, your diary is yours, your fees are yours and you stay listed wherever else you choose.
How registration checks work
You tell us your professional body and membership number. We look that number up on the body's public register before your profile goes live. When the register cannot settle it, we write to the body.
Why the name ViaCara
"Via" means the way through. "Cara" started as care, and it kept giving.
In Italian it means dear. In Spanish and Portuguese it means face. In Irish it means friend.
Through care, face to face, through a friend. Each one says what we are here for.
